Galvanization
All our products which are hot dip galvanized, have been submerged in a bath of Molten Zinc to give the steel a protective layer of zinc alloy which will give a life expectancy of about 20 years
The galvanized products are not susceptible to adverse temperature change. There is no cracking of flaking of the protective layer.
The galvanized arches can be painted after a period of six weeks of weathering when the coating becomes a dull silver colour.
If damage does occur to the galvanized layer, no corroding will spread under the finish, unlike some other coatings. In time, the damaged area will self repair.
